Fan fault. Fan is not working or fan does not stop.

What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's control board cannot communicate with the internal fan or detects that the fan is spinning at the wrong speed. The most common reasons are a complete motor failure within the fan assembly or a loose electrical connection that prevents the fan from starting its safety checks.

Engineer required

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
