Your boiler is continuing to run its internal water pump for longer than expected after you have finished using hot water.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: boiler pump is running after heating DHW
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler believes there is still a demand for hot water even after you have turned the taps off. The most common reason is a sticking flow sensor or a faulty internal valve that fails to signal to the control board that the water flow has stopped. This causes the pump to continue running needlessly as a safety measure to dissipate heat.
