Technical description: Valve leakage failure

What causes the Remeha 10-11 fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's safety system detects gas passing through the internal valves when they should be tightly shut. The most common reason is that small pieces of debris or wear and tear have prevented a valve from seating correctly, or the electronic sensor responsible for checking the seal has failed. Because the boiler cannot guarantee it can stop the flow of gas, it shuts down immediately to ensure your safety.

Typical repair cost £250-550 (including labour)
