Technical description: Fan failure: check the fan and wiring.

What causes the Remeha E05 fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer detects that the fan is not spinning at the correct speed to safely expel exhaust gases. The most common reason is that the fan motor has burnt out or seized, though it can also be caused by loose electrical connections or a fault on the main control board. Because the boiler cannot guarantee that harmful fumes are being moved out of the flue, it shuts down immediately as a safety precaution.

Typical repair cost £280-450 (including labour)
