Technical description: Short circuit return sensor: check wiring and sensor.

What causes the Remeha E08 fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer loses the ability to safely monitor the temperature of the water coming back from your radiators. The most common reason is that the return sensor has developed an internal electrical failure or the delicate wiring connected to it has become damaged or loose. Because the boiler can no longer verify if the water is at a safe temperature, it shuts down immediately to prevent overheating.

Typical repair cost £120-190 (including labour)
