What causes the Remeha e44 fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal memory experiences a communication failure or data corruption between the main control board and its identity chip. It means the boiler can no longer confirm its own safety and performance settings, often caused by a failing electronic component or a loose internal connection. Most commonly, this is due to the printed circuit board (PCB) reaching the end of its functional life or a fault with the specific plug that holds the unit's configuration.
