Technical description
Control box failure
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the internal electronic components or circuits on the main command board suffer a physical failure or electrical breakdown. The most common reason is long-term exposure to heat and vibration, which causes the soldered joints to crack or the capacitors to reach the end of their working life.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
