Your boiler's internal computer is receiving a confusing signal regarding the flame, preventing the system from starting for safety reasons.

Technical description: Electronics flame signal error
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board detects a flame signal at the wrong time, such as before the gas has actually been ignited. The most common reason is an internal hardware failure within the printed circuit board, but it can also be caused by a worn ignition electrode sending 'ghost' readings to the system.
Engineer required
This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
