Low
576 on Viessmann Vitodens 100-W B1KF-30

The boiler's control panel has detected a fault with the sensor on your wall thermostat that measures room temperature, so it may not adjust heating to match the room accurately, though it should still heat your home.

Monitor it

This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.

DIY fix possible

Switch off the boiler at its isolator or fused spur and wait a few minutes.Check the cable running from the room thermostat or sensor on the wall for damage, pinched wires, or bare copper touching metal, and reconnect any loose terminals.Restore power, press the reset button on the boiler or control unit, and check whether code 576 returns. If the code returns, the room sensor itself is likely faulty. Contact a Gas Safe registered engineer to replace it. Do not open the boiler casing.
