What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's main internal computer loses its digital link with the Vitotrol thermostat or remote control unit. The most common reason is a break in the physical wiring between the two devices or a temporary electronic glitch in the communication module. In some cases, it can be caused by the remote control unit itself failing due to age or internal component wear.
