What causes the Vokera Green LED flashing fault?

This is not actually a fault, but rather the boiler confirming it has power and is ready to work. It occurs when the internal controls have checked all safety sensors and are simply waiting for you to turn up the thermostat or open a hot water tap. Once you demand heat, the light will typically change to a solid green to show the burner has lit.

This status is more frequently observed in the summer months when the central heating is turned off and the boiler spends most of its time in standby mode.

DIY fix possible

Check that your room thermostat is turned up high enough to call for heatEnsure your programmer or timer is set to 'On' or 'Auto'Open a hot water tap to see if the green light turns solid, indicating normal operation
