Technical description
Check wirings
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's central brain loses communication with its internal sensors or components due to a break in the electrical path. It is most commonly caused by loose plugs, damaged wiring, or moisture causing a short circuit on the control board. Without a solid electrical connection, the boiler cannot verify that it is safe to fire up, so it shuts down as a precaution.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
