The 6 most common faults
Your boiler has detected that the water pressure in the system is too low to operate safely and has shut down.
Locate the filling loop (usually a silver flexible hose) underneath or near the boiler.Open the valves slowly until you hear water entering the system and the pressure gauge reaches between 1 and 1.5 bar.Close the valves tightly and turn the mode selector dial to the 'Reset' position to restart the boiler.
Your boiler has stopped working because the water pressure inside the system has dropped too low.
Locate the filling loop valves underneath or near the boilerSlowly open the valves to let water into the system until the pressure gauge reads between 1.0 and 1.5 barClose the valves tightly and press the reset button on the boiler control panel
Your boiler has experienced a generic electronic system error that is preventing it from heating your home or water.
Locate the mode selector dial on the front of the boilerTurn the dial to the 'OFF/RESET' position and wait 10 secondsTurn the dial back to the 'Hot Water' or 'Heating and Hot Water' position
Your boiler has failed to light the flame or detect it after several attempts, so it has shut down for safety.
Check that your gas prepayment meter has credit (if applicable).Ensure other gas appliances in the home, like a hob, are working correctly.Turn the mode selector dial to the 'Reset' position for a few seconds, then back to the heating or hot water position.
Your boiler has overheated, prompting a safety switch to shut the system down to prevent damage.
Check that all radiator valves are fully openEnsure the system water pressure is between 1.0 and 1.5 barTurn the mode selector dial to 'OFF/RESET' for a few seconds and then back to 'ON'
Your boiler has detected that the water pressure is too low or a sensor is unable to read the system pressure correctly.
Locate the filling loop valves under or near the boilerSlowly open the valves until the pressure gauge on the front of the boiler reads between 1.0 and 1.5 barClose the valves tightly and restart the boiler using the reset dial
on the Vokera Eclipse
Based on parts cited in our fault code database. Your engineer will confirm what's actually needed after diagnosis.
Call a Gas Safe engineer if…
- You can smell gas or see signs of a leak
- The Vokera shows an Emergency or High severity code
- The boiler keeps locking out after repeated resets
- You've tried the DIY checks and the fault hasn't cleared
- There's visible water leaking from the boiler
- The flame is yellow or orange instead of blue
