Your boiler has detected an issue with the air pressure or flue gases and is currently waiting for the condition to clear before attempting to restart.
This fault should be looked at by a Gas Safe engineer within the next week or two. It may get worse if left.
Technical description: Temporary fault code (Refer to section 7.10)
What causes this fault?
This fault happens when the boiler's internal sensors detect that the waste gases are not being cleared out of the flue safely or quickly enough. It is usually caused by a struggling fan, a blocked air tube, or a sensor that is failing to tell the brain of the boiler that it is safe to light the flame.
This issue can become more frequent during windy weather, as strong gusts can sometimes interfere with the pressure balance within the flue system.
Engineer required
This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
