Appliance wont fire

Your boiler is failing to start up because there is a problem with the electrical power supply, the water pressure inside the system is too low, or a fuse has blown.

What to check first

  1. Check that the power socket and fused spur switch supplying the boiler are both switched on.
  2. Check the boiler pressure gauge on the front panel to ensure it is sitting between 1 and 1.5 bars.
  3. If the pressure is too low, use the filling loop to top up the system, then reset the boiler.
