What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer experiences a critical electronic failure or loses communication with its sensors. The most common reason is age-related wear on the circuit board's components, though it can also be triggered by a sudden electrical surge or moisture getting onto the control panel.

This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
