Your boiler has shut down and locked itself out because it has detected a safety issue with the airflow, temperature sensors, or internal pressure.

What to check first

  1. Turn the mode selector dial to the 'OFF (0)' position.
  2. Wait for at least 2 minutes for the system to reset.
  3. Turn the dial back to the 'Hot Water/Heating' position and see if the light clears.
