What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board fails to complete its initial self-check during the startup sequence. It is typically caused by a critical hardware failure within the electronic circuitry or a loose connection in the wiring that prevents the computer from communicating with the rest of the boiler's components.

Engineer required

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
