Fast flash, Lockout reset: Flashing High Lockout

Your boiler has encountered a critical electronic failure that has caused it to stop working completely as a safety precaution.

Call an engineer soon

Book a Gas Safe engineer within 24–48 hours. Your boiler may be unsafe or could break down completely if left.

Technical description: Internal fault

What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer, the Printed Circuit Board, fails to communicate correctly with the rest of the system or suffers a component failure. It is essentially a 'brain' error that prevents the boiler from safely managing the ignition process, leading the system to shut down to prevent any risks. The most common reason is natural wear and tear of the electronics over several years of use.

Typical repair cost £250-£550 (including labour)

Engineer required
