Internal error
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board suffers an internal electronic failure or loses proper communication with the internal wiring. It is often caused by a component failure on the circuit board itself or electrical interference that prevents the computer from executing its safety checks. Essentially, the boiler's 'brain' has detected a software or hardware glitch and has shut down to ensure it doesn't operate unsafely.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
