What causes this fault?
This is a normal operational status message and not a mechanical failure. It appears when the boiler's internal controls detect a demand for warmth from your thermostat and ignite the burner to circulate hot water to your radiators. You will see this code whenever your heating is functioning exactly as intended.
This code is most frequently seen during autumn and winter when homeowners activate their heating systems for the first time or during cold spells.
