What causes the Baxi E128 fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer detects that the flame is repeatedly flickering or cutting out shortly after ignition. It is usually caused by a dirty or worn sensing probe that can no longer 'see' the flame, or a fluctuating gas supply that prevent the burner from staying lit. After twelve unsuccessful attempts to maintain a steady flame, the boiler shuts down as a safety precaution.
