What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal sensor fails to detect a consistent flame during operation, leading the system to stop as a safety precaution. The most common reasons include a worn-out sensing probe that can no longer 'see' the flame or a slight instability in the gas supply that prevents a steady burn. It is often a sign that the components responsible for lighting the gas or monitoring the fire are starting to fail.
