What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's internal control board suffers an electronic failure or losing communication with its sensors. It is often caused by a component on the circuit board wearing out over time or damage from an electrical power surge.

Engineer required

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
