Technical description
Internal control unit error
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board loses the ability to communicate with the internal components that manage the flame. The most common reason is an electronic failure within the circuit board itself, though it can also be triggered by faulty ignition wiring failing to send the correct signals back to the computer.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
