Technical description
Internal control box failure: check/replace the control box.
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board experiences an internal electronic failure, meaning it can no longer process data or manage safety checks accurately. The most common reason is age-related wear on the circuit board's components or a sudden electrical surge that has damaged the delicate internal wiring.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
