What to check first
- Turn off the boiler at its on/off switch and at the fused spur or isolator supplying it.
- Wait about 10 minutes, then restore power and switch the boiler back on.
- If the fault returns, do not open the casing or disconnect wiring. Contact a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Parts commonly replaced
- Flow temperature sensor
- Sensor cable or wiring harness
- Control PCB (if the sensor and wiring test fine)
