Your boiler isn't receiving readings from its room thermostat or remote control, so it's running on a backup setting that may not keep your home as evenly heated as usual.

Monitor it

This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.

DIY fix possible

Check that the room thermostat or remote control has working batteries and its display is on.Make sure the thermostat is plugged in or wired to the boiler as intended, and that no connecting cable is loose or damaged.Switch the boiler off at its on/off switch, wait 30 seconds, switch it back on, and see whether the code clears. If the code returns, contact a Gas Safe registered engineer to check or replace the room thermostat or its wiring. Do not open the boiler casing yourself.
