Technical description
Gas valve driver error – due to an internal failure.
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board loses the ability to send instructions to the gas valve, which is the component that regulates fuel flow for the flame. The most common reason is an electronic failure within the circuitry of the printed circuit board itself, meaning it can no longer safely manage the ignition process.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
