Technical description
Boiler electr. system fault
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer brain loses touch with the sensors and controls it needs to operate safely. It is usually caused by a physical break in the internal wiring or a critical failure within the main circuit board's memory. Because the different parts of the boiler can no longer 'talk' to each other, the system shuts down as a safety precaution.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
