What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when a specific setting within the boiler's service menu has been manually adjusted, overriding the system's automatic control of the pump or valves. The most common reason is that a technician or user accidentally changed a configuration parameter during a service or while testing the system, leaving the component stuck 'on' or 'off'. Because the boiler's computer is no longer in control of these parts, it triggers this code as a safety and efficiency alert.

DIY fix possible

Navigate to the boiler's service menu using the display buttons.Locate the manual mode or 'Force' settings for the pump (SP).Change the setting from 'Manual' back to 'Auto' and confirm the selection.
