Technical description
Fault with the gas valve command
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board loses its electronic connection with the gas valve, preventing it from sending the signal to open. The most common reason is a loose or damaged connection in the internal wiring, though it can also be triggered by a complete electronic failure within the gas valve or the circuit board itself.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
