Technical description
Spark Generator c/w Flying Lead
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal electronic system sends a command to start the fire, but the hardware fails to create the physical spark required. The most common reason is that the spark generator has burnt out or the ignition leads have worn down, preventing the electrical current from reaching the burner.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
