Internal control unit error
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal electronic motherboards lose the ability to speak to each other or process data correctly. It is usually caused by age-related wear to the capacitors on the circuit board or a loose physical connection between the main controller and the front display panel.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
