Communication error with display control unit
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the electrical connection between the boiler's internal computer and the front control panel is interrupted or broken. The most common reason is a loose or damaged communication cable, though it can also be caused by moisture getting into the electronics or a component failure on one of the circuit boards.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
