Technical description
Fan speed failure: check the fan and connector.
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's control system loses communication with the fan or detects that it isn't spinning at the correct speed to safely clear waste gases. The most common reasons are a buildup of dust and debris seizing the fan bearings, loose electrical connections, or a failure in the fan's motor.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
