What to check first
- Switch the boiler off at its on/off switch and at the fused spur or isolator for about 5 minutes, then switch it back on.
- Check the display to see if fault code 9A has cleared.
- If the code returns, leave the boiler as it is and arrange for a Gas Safe registered engineer or a Viessmann-approved installer to check the collector sensor and its cable.
