Internal error / communication link cable fault
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the data link between the boiler's main control board and its display panel is interrupted or broken. It is usually caused by loose wiring connections, moisture getting onto the electrical components, or a critical failure within the printed circuit board itself.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
