Your boiler has detected that the water pressure is too low, causing it to slow down and lose efficiency to protect its internal parts.

DIY fix possible

Locate the filling loop (the flexible silver hose usually found underneath the boiler).Open the small black valve(s) slowly until you hear water entering the system.Watch the pressure gauge and close the valve(s) tightly once the reading reaches 1.5 bar.
