Technical description
No gas supply
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer tries to start the burner but cannot establish a sustained flame. The most common reasons are a temporary interruption in your gas supply, a worn-out ignition probe that cannot create a spark, or a faulty gas valve failing to release fuel into the combustion chamber.
This fault can occur more frequently during extreme cold snaps if the external gas meter regulator freezes, restricting the flow of gas to the property.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
