Technical description
Faulty burner/Ignition control (Internal error)
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer system fails to communicate correctly with the ignition components. It is usually caused by a physical failure within the main circuit board or the transformer that creates the spark. Because the boiler cannot verify that it is safe to light the gas, it shuts down completely as a protective measure.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
