What causes this fault?

This fault happens when the boiler's internal computer momentarily loses contact with one of its temperature sensors or components. It is often caused by a loose electrical connection or a sensor that is starting to fail and giving an inconsistent reading.

DIY fix possible

Turn the control knob to the 'OFF/RESET' position.Wait for approximately 30 seconds.Turn the knob back to your desired 'Heating' or 'Hot Water' setting.
