What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer receives an inconsistent or 'out of range' signal from one of its heat sensors. The most common reason is that a sensor is starting to fail or there is a temporary breakdown in communication between the sensor and the main control board.

DIY fix possible

Turn the selector switch to the 'OFF/RESET' position.Wait approximately 30 seconds.Turn the selector switch back to either the 'Heating' or 'Hot Water' position.
