What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer chips struggle to communicate with each other during a startup check. It is often caused by a loose connection in the wiring or a glitch on the main control board that prevents the system from confirming everything is safe to run.

DIY fix possible

Locate the mode selector switch on the front of the boiler.Turn the switch to the 'OFF/RESET' position and wait for 5 seconds.Turn the switch back to either 'Hot Water Only' or 'Heating and Hot Water' to restart the system.
