What causes this fault?
This status appears when the boiler's internal controls detect that the central heating is not currently needed. It occurs because your room thermostat has reached the set temperature or your programmer is in an 'off' period, signaling the boiler to pause its operation. The boiler is simply resting and waiting for the temperature to drop or for the next scheduled timer to begin.
This code is frequently seen during the spring and summer months when the weather is warmer and the heating is used less often.
