Technical description
Internal fault in burner controller.
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control centre suffers an internal electronic failure and loses its ability to manage the burner safely. The most common reason is a hardware malfunction within the printed circuit board, often triggered by age or an electrical surge that disrupts the sensitive components required to run the unit.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
