What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's internal memory becomes corrupted or the software settings are no longer aligned with the physical hardware. The most common reason is a technical glitch within the central control board, which prevents the boiler from knowing the correct safety limits and operating instructions.

Engineer required

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
