Technical description

Open circuit on flow sensor

What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer can no longer detect a signal from the temperature sensor on the main water pipe. It is usually caused by the sensor itself burning out over time or the electrical wires connecting it to the control board becoming loose or damaged.

Engineer required

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
